The clouds have removed a lot of the color from the light. It's mainly a soft white glow which illuminates most of the room in a relatively truthful manner. The inanimate objects shine with inherent luster. As for people, the lines, crevices and muscle movements show with every facial expression. In this light, beautiful smiles will be beautiful smiles but the feigned and forced will be exposed unforgivably. The young plants growing on the window sill inherit a mystical glow. It is good light for a nap, or for a cup of coffee.
