Light Observation 2: Rainstorm

I made this observation standing under an awning waiting to make my run into the rain to my bus. The rain is falling so heavily that you can't see more than five feet in front of you. The sunlight shines through each raindrop and you could imagine that if one were to slow time down, each drop would be lit like a point on a three dimensional scatter plot. Except they would be illuminated like light bulbs, inevitably falling to shatter organically. Then the light which they had captured, would spread across the ground forming gleaming rivulets. Eventually, as the water gathers in pools, the rain ebbs and the surface stills, the light will reflect of the water and invert the sky, the trees and anything else they capture.
